"Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth: Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from [your enemy]" - Proverbs 24 v 17-18
I have no sympathy for the man who played God and sought to right the wrongs he perceived to be manifest in the world. I respect his courage and tenacity in pursuing what he believed in till his dying day. I know not enough about him to analyse his actions or condemn his beliefs...but I do know for a fact, that his death is not the beginning of world peace. it is but a temporary sense of safety and triumph of the popular over the misunderstood.
May God have mercy on us all.
